Head of the Project from TSI:
Igor Kabashkin, Dr. hab.sc.ing., Prof.,
With the results of this analysis the Commission wishes to extend its knowledge base on traffic and transport to the 10 new Member States: the Czech Republic, Estonia, Cyprus, Latvia, Lithuania, Hungary, Malta, Poland, Slovenia and the Slovak Republic. - With the assistance of this study, the Commission aims to analyse transport policies decided on national and regional level (if necessary even at local level) and their implications for the Community's transport objectives fixed in the White Paper.
The aim is not to provide detailed analyses of each aspect of national transport policy, but rather to give a synthetic overview of national transport policies and their possible connections to European transport objectives.
