TSI Expands Cooperation With the Civil Aviation Academy of Kazakhstan

In order to promote and expand cooperation in the field of aviation and education, TSI board chairman Irina Jackiva and the Civil Aviation Academy of Kazakhstan (CAA) board chairwoman, rector Beken Seidakhmetov met in person on April 22 to extend the existing cooperation agreement. 

The new stage of cooperation of educational institutions is intended to help establish EASA Part 147* organization and certification,  development of documentations and consultations, based on the guidelines of the CAA Academy. The Ambassador of Kazakhstan Dauren Karipo, TSI Rector Juris Kanels, TSI APAC director Zintis Stabins and CAA Maintenance Training Manager Almas Bitenov also joined the meeting and discussed current trends in the field of education and highlighted the importance of cooperation.

Long-term and successful cooperation is focused on the development of the aviation field, education and innovations, exchange of experience, knowledge and culture.

* EASA Part-147 is a training center certified by the European Aviation Safety Agency for the training of Category B1 Aircraft Maintenance Certifying Technician – Mechanical and Category B2 Aircraft Maintenance Certifying Technician – Avionic.
