The research and practice seminar “Information and safety – essential service aspects affecting public transport attractiveness: theory and practice” organized by Transport and Telecommunication Institute (TSI).

This seminar as a part of Riga Transportation week will be held on June 4, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Transport and Telecommunication Institute (TSI) (130 aud., 1, Lomonosova street, Riga, Latvia).

The seminar is organized jointly by in cooperation with the European Regional Development Fund, Latvian Transport Development and Education Association (LaTDEA), Riga Road Transport Administration, Transport and Telecommunication Institute (TSI), Latvian association of passenger forwarders (LPPA) and Riga International Coach Terminal.

This seminar will present scientific analysis of public transport service quality, which is the main driver of public transport usability. During this seminar a scientific analysis of public transport service quality, which is the main driver of public transport usability, will be presented. An objective the goal of the seminar is to develop understanding of public transport service quality at the European Commission, as well as scientists, researchers and stakeholders level of the evidences base in relation to particular challenges for public transport attractiveness.
