Bachelor of engineering science in Aviation Transport

"Aviation Transport" (43525 05)

Accreditation Certificate Nr. 032-2271.

The activity of the aviation transport specialists comprises the complex arrangement of passengers and freights by means of aircraft. Consequently, the specialist of this profile is to know perfectly the structure of the air vessel and provide its technical service and maintenance.  The peculiarity of the offered programme is a possibility to take the exams, necessary for obtaining the certificates on categories B1(mechanics)  and B2 (avionics) simultaneously with mastering the course subjects. Passing these exams and obtaining the certificates is the necessary requirement for receiving the license for the air vessels independent servicing and maintenance in accordance with the European Aviation Legislation.    Nevertheless, the technical servicing the vessel is not enough for preparing the aircraft for the flight. The interaction with all the airport services is necessary.
The airport is a complex structure, requiring the presence of the technicians of different profiles for its functioning. The specialists on the peripheral land equipment employment, on the fixed airport facilities, on providing the passengers and freights flows, etc., are in need.   It is the reason why the graduates of the academic programme “Aviation Transport” have possibility to specialize and work in the various services of the airports, but not only as specialists on technical servicing the vessels.
