Competition on the research papers in the field of transport

The 6th annual competition on the research papers in the field of transport, held by the Riga City Council, has come to an end. Transport and Telecommunication Institute submitted 8 papers to the competition.

The winners are:

 

Doctoral students:

Stanislav Grishin (2nd place)

Theme: "Mathematical modeling of the dynamics of the exhaust flow in urban turbulent atmosphere"

Master’s students:

Edward Ruzga (1st place)

Theme: "Research and development of mathematical models of the dynamics of the concentration of exhaust flow in the turbulent atmosphere of the city"

Adviser: Sh. Guseinov

 

Olga Krumina (1st place)

Theme: "Developing the concept of automated decision support system for transport planning"

Adviser: I. Yackiv

 

Bachelor’s students:

Viktor Ovchinnikov (1st place)

Theme: "Investigation of the possibility of the acoustic method for counting the number of moving vehicles"
